Auditioning for The Pittsburgh Philharmonic

AUDITION INFORMATION

Membership in the Pittsburgh Philharmonic is comprised of volunteer musicians. Members come from many walks in life; teachers, professors, students, scientists, retirees, executives, and business men and women to list a few.

New members are accepted by audition.
Strings may audition through out the season.

For the 2012 - 2013 Season the Philharmonic is taking auditions for the following instruments:

• All Strings
• Principal Tuba
• Pecussion
• Trombone
• We are also seeking woodwind and brass players to serve on a sub list.
